The CARGRAPHIC valve control unit type is installed between the exhaust valves and the standard control unit. It thus takes over complete control of the factory valves. This allows the flaps to be opened or closed manually by remote control and even reactivates the factory automatic control.
Quiet engine start possible
For the BMW M3, we offer a vehicle-specific valve control system that makes installation simple and easy, as well as allows trackless refitting. A special feature is the possibility of a "quiet" engine start: For BMW models with two electric exhaust valves, the CARGRAPHIC flap control system allows the valves to be closed after the ignition is switched on, before the actual engine start. This makes starting the engine, which is otherwise very noisy, acoustically much more restrained and neighbour-friendly.

How it works:
The CARGRAPHIC valve control unit is installed between the exhaust valves and the factory control unit. It takes over / overlays the control function of the standard control unit and operates with 3 modes:
- SPORT mode: valves always open
- COMFORT mode: valves always closed
- AUTOMATIC mode: factory control is reactivated
